Porridge À LA NESSLERHOF
A popular breakfast classic
Attention morning grouches: Here at the Hotel Nesslerhof in Grossarl, we are not the only ones who love to start the day with a tasty and invigorating breakfast. With our recipe for a quick, delicious and healthy breakfast - ideally prepared the evening before - you can bring a piece of the Nesslerhof to your breakfast table. You will be delighted!
Ingredients Porridge
- 500 g oat flakes
- 90 g grated hazelnuts
- ¾ l milk
- 1 peeled, grated apple
- 2 tbsp honey
- Fruit and nuts of your choice for the topping
Preparation
For the Bircher muesli à la Nesslerhof, mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and leave to stand for approx. 12 hours, preferably overnight.
The Bircher muesli is very versatile and can be mixed as desired. Raisins can be added if desired or the apple can be replaced with a pear, banana, etc.
For the topping, choose your favorite fruit, whether banana, strawberry or blueberries, simply cut into slices on top. You can also sprinkle chia seeds, linseed or nuts of your choice on top.
