BLueberrry Dumplings

Regional speciality

Schwarzbeernocken (Blueberry Dumplings) are a traditional Austrian specialty, particularly popular in the Alpine regions. Infused with juicy blackberries (blueberries), the sweetness of the berries combines with the savoury taste of the dough. They make a delicious dessert, a delightful companion to a cup of coffee, or even a sweet main dish. The simple recipe and fresh ingredients make Schwarzbeernocken a favorite among food lovers and fans of Alpine cuisine.

Gästeflüsterer Tip

Sprinkle with brown sugar and caramelise.

It goes perfectly with vanilla ice cream or whole milk ice cream.

For an exquisite finishing touch, we recommend a yoghurt foam. Mix the yoghurt, lemon juice and sugar and decorate the blackberry dumplings with it.
